Psycho Therapy North Face Mount Borah Idaho 2nd ascent

Took a decade, but she's done.
Hands down the hardest and scariest thing I've ever climbed.
This conditions window will only be open for a few more weeks before the route turns into a rock climb.

Cory is the best companion a climber could ask for. Not only can he climb hard, but he will graciously let you pick the cherry pitch as well. He'll even say nice things about you when you get home.
It was so nice to have Wes Collins on speed dial in case something happened. He has spent more time in the Lost River Range than anyone I know.
The condition we found Psycho Therapy in was way better (easier) than when Dean climbed it. My hat is off to Dean for establishing such a standard.
This route has been on my list for a long time. I called Doug Colwell and he gave me a pep talk on the drive into the range. He, Tim Ball, and Brad Schilling put up some other climbs in the area. I'm in the process of collecting a climbing history of Rock and Ice climbing in the Lost River Range. Mount Borah is my current area of interest. If you know any names, dates, and locations, of routes please post them. With time this info can make it onto other website's like Tom Lopez's idahoaclimbinggiude, idahosummits, and summitpost.

Yea, we got there an hour after they closed. It's hard to leave the range and not stop in.

Well done. Lots of potential in the Lost Rivers, but especially for those who are bold.

Ask what Dean Lords is doing now?
Well take a look for yourself.
Both he and his wife Heather are still spending time in the Lost River Range.

Gee thanks guys!

The funny thing is that before we started, we were talking about how tagging the summit after a route is optional, but going to Pickles is not. I guess since we didn't make it down in time for some delicious deep fried pickles, our ascent doesn't count! :P

No Pickles = Major deduction for style points, but a great effort, none the less.

Joe and I were able to get back to Pickles two weeks ago after our FA of Broken Dreams. Sadly the meal was better than the climb.

Most folks want to know the Car to Car time, but it seems like in the Lost Rivers it's Pickles to Pickles time.
"Lets see we had a Sheriff's special (named after Wes Collins LRR legend), did a gear sort in the parking lot, an left at 8:30pm, ran the route from Borah to White Cap, and got back in time for fried pickles at 9:00pm. That makes it 24.5 hours P2P."
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
