Moderate multi pitch trad in the shade (Colorado Front Range)

I am looking for suggestions for multi pitch (or single pitch) trad routes in the shade. I love climbing in Eldo, but it is getting HOT, and most of the moderates are in the sun for most or all of the day, and there is usually a queue for Bastille Crack. I have found that I am more comfortable in the shade at the warmer lower elevations than in the cooler higher elevation in the sun. High elevation in the shade would be ideal.

I am looking for routes up to 5.8/5.9 within about an hour or so from Boulder.

Thank you for any suggestions!

Lumpy, The Crags, Ironclads, Piz Badille, and Indian Peaks all offer decent to great, if not adventurous single to multipitch trad climbing. Shade will depend on specific aspect and time of day but these are all relatively high elevation and should be relatively cool.

The St Vrain forks have have a few multipitch trad. Some of that is nice and shady.

Just went to the Ironclads today and fried like pasty ginger bacon. It's not to shady over there.

+1 for the options in the SSV. Some of them are mixed routes, but most are not sport climbs. Check out the Gillett book, which tells you what is shaded and not.

Was it pretty muddy up in the Ironclads? Wasn't sure how the area was handling all of the precipitation recently.

The higher you go the less important it will be to have shade.

Lumpy left book is pretty shady in the morning.

It was really nice actually. Dry for the most part. A few puddles. If you're coming from 36 you might have to take the long way. One exit on the road is in bad shape with all the runoff.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
