This weekend I'm planning to go camping and bouldering for two nights. Unfortunately the place we are going to camp/boulder is quite a hike. I have an Organic Big Pad that I really want to bring with me, but I'm not sure if it has enough room to hike in all my camping supplies. Do any of you have an efficient method for hiking in big pads and camping?

Dog pack...Take the kids and load them down too..no kids, then the girlfriend..no girlfriend, then pull a sled maybe?

the trick is to take everything out of it's stuff sack an lay it flat ( clothes, tent ect...) that makes for a much better distribulion and the stuff you can't lay flat you shove in the top after it's closed. You could camp for a week with an Organic big pad if you do it right. Hope this helps.

P.s oh and loading others down with your gear is another exceptable option. You can alos hang a pack out side of it with a strap or the like

Good idea.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
