What'd you end up deciding? And how did it turn out?

It rained some, but there were several good weather windows. Lots of folks got out and got dry rock.

If it has been raining for awhile, pretty much nothing will be dry.

Hey All,

I'll be in Boston next week for work, and plan on hanging around through the weekend in hopes of getting some climbing in at Rumney. Anyone interested in climbing the weekend of June 6-8th (next weekend)? I sport lead 5.10's and project 11's. I also trad if that's more your style!

I hope to get on some New England rocks!

How does stuff at orange crush wall hold up in the rain. I’ll be trying anything 5.11-5.13

Still some ice and quite wet as of this past Sunday

Nobody seems to mention that climbing on wet schist is not a great idea for keeping the climbs intact. A lot of the Rumney rock is pretty bullet, but it definitely is weaker when wet and it is much easier to rip off flakes (not to mention tweaking your fingers when they slip off)  ..Something to keep in mind.

orange  crush turns into a power washer after a rain spell...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
