Would it be a death wish to head up there in a week? I'm guessing the wall bakes all day?

no, it does not bake all day...gets shade in the afternoon....but I would not climb it myself in June.....hauling a ton of water up that long of a route does not make sense when there are so many shady routes at RR.....if it is that specific area you are into...I have climbed two routes to the right that receive a lot more shade and are pretty damn cool in my opinion...here is my write up on them...

Thanks Dow, those routes look really good.

Anyone know if Cactus Flower Tower gets shade? Specifically the upper pitches of The Warrior?

thanks

Same as Resolution, afternoon shade...the crux pitches (middle of the route) are self shaded in a huge corner....approach for any of this will burn up your water if it is 95+ in Vegas, I advise a headlamp type start....
