Hey, anyone climbed in Tafraoute Morocco?

I'm planning on heading there in the winter. Am wondering if it is plausible to climb there, for around a month or so, without a car….

Let me know what you think,

I tried to do some climbing there right around New Years 2013, and was shot down for lack of partners. Depends on what you wanna do. There's bouldering within easy walking distance from the town (LOTS of unexplored stuff), and bike rental is easy and cheap. The multipitch trad stuff is gonna be harder to get to for sure- I'd estimate 30-45 minute drives from the looks of it (but it looks RAD!!) If you can make some European climbing friends with cars you might be able to do it.
Tafraoute itself is one of the coolest places in Morocco, IMHO. Way more laid back than a lot of the other more touristy places. Good place to spend a month.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
