Castle Peak Bouldering Conditions

I am thinking of heading to Castle Peak this weekend to check out some of the bouldering there, but I'm not sure about what the conditions would be like. Last time I was there (in March, I believe) there was still a substantial amount of snow on the ground, but it's been quite warm since then. Has anyone been in the area recently? Cheers!

I was up there a few days ago, and it was pretty wet with isolated pockets of snow. It is pretty likely that it snowed there the last few days, so it is probably not ideal yet.

Indeed, given the elevation it is likely that the precipitation this week came in the form of snow. Probably better to wait until later in the season. To the Leap instead!

Soda Springs was snow free today, and it looked like Castle Peak was from a distance. Good luck!
