We hope to spend a lot of time in Blair Woods, Round Pond, and BN although it sounds like the later is wet??. We drive around in a bright yellow truck so come say hi if you see us!! Ill be up there today, don't worry about Boulder natural everything has been dry for a week or so!

The gates off Reservation road are now open. Round Pond and Tower Pond roads have been repaired in the major areas and are much more passable than last season. As usual for this time of season the bugs are at 5 and are swarming but not biting. That all changes as we know and they will be at BUGCON 10 tomorrow. Enjoy.

Does anybody know if the gates get closed nightly? Thinking about some night bouldering but I've only been to Pway during the day. Just want to make sure that I won't get locked in if I stay too late (via the Reservation Road).

Gates stay open until the park closes for the season late fall. You'll be fine for some night bouldering. The difference in the amount of bugs will make you only want to night session there for the rest of summer ha.

Saw some Luna moths at Round pond one night

Bouldering at night is great out there. Just be aware I did see a bear out by the streambed boulders last week around nightfall. The bear minded his own business but but be careful if there are cubs around!

Decent size bear, but it minded it own business. If I saw cubs around I would have been nervous.
