I was out at the Promised Land last week checking out the stuff WAY down stream. Does anybody know who put those routes up or where I can find out more about them? I live nearby and plan to do more climbing there in the near future.
If you are talking about the multi-pitch .10's they are Rusty Bailey lines I believe.

Yes multi pitch stuff a mile downstream above a giant boulder in the bottom of the canyon. Some nice problems on the boulder btw. I'm interested in those big east facing routes but they are pretty hard to read because the rock is so fractured. I'm wondering if the FA parties did much cleaning. There are some pretty unstable looking sections on almost every line. Do you know how to get ahold of Rusty? I live in the Prescott area but am not really in the loop locally.
Yep, a rusty bailey route. Did it a long time ago 3 or pitches, fun and about 5.10. Go to granite mountain outfitters in downtown prescott, there's a p lands pamphlet guide. You might be able to find it at the PC library as well. love the p lands what a great place! Have fun!

There are probably 6-8 routes on the cliff I'm talking about. Not the Star Trek route if that's the one you did. These are way farther downstream than that. At least 2 look to be harder than 5.10 but it can be hard to tell looking up at that quartzite. We didn't have time to get on any of them but hope to next time out. We did do some overhangs way right of Solomon. I'll look into them too. Also, did about 6 routes over by Valerie's Book. I first climbed here a long time ago and kind of forgot how nice and fun the climbs are.
