Hey guys! I'm going to be in denver and plan to climb for 3-4 days. Can you guys recommend some nice sport or top rope areas near Denver?

THANK YOU!! :)

Devil's Head has nicely bolted moderates, especially in the west valley. The Jungle, Training wall, Wypyuer come to mind, and it's possible to set up top ropes on the later two. Crazy chicken-headed granite. Good camping too, but bring lots of water.

cheers.

Devils Head is the best! Longer hikes to get there, though, and not always easy top-roping.

If TR is your only way to get the rope up, Table Mountain/Golden Cliffs and Castlewood Canyon are good (but not usually crowd favorites).

Boulder Canyon and and Clear Creek Canyon have some fun climbs, too. Canal Zone, Highwire Crag, and Catslab all have a good number of moderates in CCC (but no easy TR access, from my recollection). That place everyone rags on in BoCan, The Sport Park, has some TR acces, iirc, but it has been years since I was there.

I have an old book called Front Range Top Ropes I could give you some beta with if you'd like).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
