What if we could make custom circuits/route lists.. same idea as "The List" in the last Vedauwoo book.

Sorry if this has been discussed before.. I looked but didn't see anything.

My thought has been to add an "Area" named "Circuits", and basically make a route description that included links to the individual parts of the circuit.

Thanks, Doug, that sounds like a pretty good workaround.
I've been thinking about this again lately, and I still think it's a good idea.
I imagine a feature that would basically mimic a public playlist on spotify. It would be useful for capturing the character of routes in ways that the usual stats cannot-- for example, I could keep a list of my favorite offwidths in the Boulder area, and people could see it, either from a route page or my profile page.
Say someone climbs Huston Crack and wants more routes like it-- when they're logging their tick, they can see that Huston is included on a few playlists. They click on a list and get way more in-depth guidance than you could ever get with a normal guidebook.
Furthermore, the lists could have star ratings so that the best beta rises to the top.

Cool idea -- some of these lists exist in the forums, but pretty unorganized. The summitpost setup is more ideal for this sort of thing, since they "objects" which can contain any other object -- so you wouldn't have to make a fake area just for such a list.

Another place to put it would be the comments for a specific area, also not exactly what you were thinking.

It would be cool to make a Genius playlist based off of some particularly fun climb... Or just find a local and get it analog!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
