Tuolumne in October???

What can I expect for conditions in Tuolumne in early October? I'm guessing it could be calm, warm and sunny, or a blizzard could hit. Just thought I'd check to to see what others have experienced around that time of year.

You got it about right. I was in the Valley in October one year and it was so hot we went up to Tuolumne for a few days and had great conditions. But you could just as easily get snowed out.

One word: PERFECT!

If the weathers turns for the worse, just head to the Valley or the East Side. October is my favorite month to be in the Meadows.

Probably you know this, but the campground will be closed at that time... Should be gorgeous and deserted though!
