Looking to relocate in a couple years to a place with a lower cost of living and Idaho Falls popped up. I was courious about the climbing scene, particulary the ice climbing. I'll be simi-retired so don't mind traveling for rock road trips, but am looking for a place that has good local ice.
I spent 5 years in that area, and I'm convinced it's the best place to climb rocks in the US. The variety of rock types and route styles plus the utter lack of crowds cannot be beaten.
That said, I don't climb ice, so I must defer to others on that.
