I would never climb in closed areas. Parfreys Glen is one of the coolest places in WI and the vegetation is way cool. I was in there (long story) just a few hours after the last flood (2008 i think). It is neat to see how that place is healing up.

Roger, did they ever rebuild the path after the floods? Or is it now left more natural? We haven't been there in probably 3-4 years.

After the last big washout in the Glen the park service did not replace the boardwalk. They did expend efforts towards improving the pathway and parts of the creek bank outside and on the way into the Glen. I think the park service has come to the conclusion that a boardwalk inside the Glen is a bad idea...it will just be destroyed by an eventual washout and then expensive to remove the debris and replace.

Thinking about heading up tomorrow. Any input if the rock is likely to be wet tomorrow?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
