El Rito/Tres Piedras conditions

Hello Enchanted,

The San Juans got really blasted with snow this storm; still coming down! Local climbing is mostly caput for a bit. (Not complaining too much; waist deep powder in April is cool!)

Considering traveling down to pull on some cobbles or sketch out on some slabs, any condition reports?

Thanks,

George

I'm in alamosa and there's no snow anywhere so I'd expect the same for tres and rito. Just really really windy!!

was down in El Rito and all around there not too long ago. They had a terrible winter with very little snow. It was beautiful climbing weather in February so it is definitely good to go just about anywhere down there right now.

El Rito with a bit cool and windy this past weekend but good climbing conditions. Coming week and weekend looks real nice except for maybe thursday. No snow below 10000 feet. TP should be real nice too

woo hoo!

Thanks folks.

Probably be at El Rito Saturday and Sunday if anyone wants to stop by. Looks warm and nice!
