Hey all, A while back i read a post regarding camping at Foster Falls. It mentioned the recent fire at the camp manager's house and some were concerned about the the wellbeing of the lady that was living there at the time of the fire.
I was out there this past weekend and spoke to one of the TVA folks. The lady (camp manager) that took care of the car camping and bathrooms is fine, but has decided to retire and will not be returning.
They are currently working to clean up what remains of her house and will replace it with a new trailer for the next camp manager. There is some question as to who (TVA or TN St parks) will oversee part of the park for the furture and that may delay things.
The bathrooms/water will remain closed and off until they have someone onsite again. The car camping section remains closed to vehicles, BUT you are allowed to walk in and tent camp on the sites for free (at least for the time being). Father Adamz is open a usual.
