Howdy,
I recently lost my 2 closest buddies/partners up here in the Lake Placid/Keene Valley area to new jobs and moving away. I'm an average trad climber with a few hundred pitches under my belt and looking to get out and have a good time all summer. I have a full double rack and a vehicle. I live and teach around the corner from Cascade Pass and Pitchoff Chimney Cliff. Apart from running a short climbing camp for some of my students in July I have little to no plans for the summer other than some work on the farm.

Looking to meet new folks, particularly locals, and have a good time. I ideally climb 5.8 through 5.10 trad but always down to follow harder routes, take new folks up easier routes, or even get on boulders or clip some bolts.

Either respond here of PM me if you'd like to get together.

Thanks!

Hey Mickey,

I'm going to be back in the Dacks hopefully within a couple of weeks at the most and looking for partners too. I live up by Paul Smiths and have a super flexible (practically non-existent) work schedule until mid June. Have a double rack .3-3, nuts, etc. Need a new rope... Would be psyched to climb a bunch of trad; always down to boulder or sport climb somewhere too. Just looking to climb a lot really. Leading around 5.10 trad at the moment, hoping to push a little higher. If you or anyone else reading this wants to climb some time my number is 914 424 6307, or just shoot me a message here. Cheers

Will

Were you climbing at Roaches Wall yesterday (Monday 4-21)? I think we were next to you. Always looking for partners, weekends, evenings, Pitchoff Breakfast Club, shoot me a message if you want to get out.

Hey Mickey,

I just started climbing this winter, i got out on the the ice twice and went out on the rock for the first time two weekends ago. I am looking to go out as much as possible with anyone that is willing to take a beginner. Although I never did catch the names of the routes we climbed, I was able to complete a 5.8 route. I work in either Placid or Keene and I almost always done at 3, so any evening or weekends are wide open for me. I understand if its a pain to take out a green climber but if you're ever up for it let me know. Thanks.

Hi all,

I will be up in the dacks all summer living near Paul Smiths starting around mid may and I would love to meet some new climbing partners! I will hopefully have a climbing partner (friend) up here with me but i'm not sure yet. I have a full rack but I've only lead a dozen or so pitches. I can follow in the 5.10 range and I would really like to expand my trad leading skills. I'm definitely a boulderer at heart but I really enjoy all types of climbing, whether it be sport, trad, bouldering, chossy chimneys, whatever. I just love being on rock. Iv'e been climbing in the dacks for 3 years now so I know my way around for the most part. PM me if you want a climbing partner!

Hey Mickey,

I live up in Watertown, but am trying to make the trip over as many weekends as I can. I climb about 5.8 on trad and just started on ice last winter. I have a three day weekend this week and am looking to get out. Let me know if you want to climb!
