I'm going on a trip to red rocks should I bring my RPs?

why not

Is it worth bringing? Will they hold any sort of a fall?

better than nothing... they're mostly like 4 or more KN right?

Way to heavy. Better leave them on the ground. Also don't bring any water. Not worth it.

Will you need them? Probably not. I lived in vegas for a few years and don't remember placing a whole lot of RPs in red rocks.

That being said unless you're flying to vegas and space/weight is an issue, why not? Roadtrips don't always go as planned and it's always a good idea to bring a little extra gear just in case you end up heading to another area.
