Going to be in Stamford for the weekend for a friends party. Looking to check out some climbing spots close by. Looks like Bald rock basin is my best bet. Anyone have any advice on different areas close by to check out sport, trad, boulder does not matter. Also if anyone wants to rope or pad up early Saturday PM me. I have a full rack and one pad.

MP's database is updated w/ most major climbing areas for SW CT.

Great Ledge is awesome TR or trad
West Rock in New Haven great for sport
Bald Rock for bouldering

I can send u a google map link to a bouldering/climbing map but ur talking about everything little place here and there with questionable access abound.

Depends on how much time you have. If you'd like to stick to one location, I would go to Bald Rock Basin. It has an amazing amount of boulders and you won't have to spend all day looking for things climb.
