Check those two out and see if you qualify.I finally got around to convincing my wife to create Promotive account and I have to say I'm quite jealous of the discounts that she can get. Thanks again for the heads-up. |

Outdoor Prolink also will have a gear they promote which I discovered is even than the discounted price. Service members who are part of a fitness/outdoor program need to send a copy of their most recent paystub (I blacked out all #'s and info except my name and branch). |

Just got an email from The Clymb and they've got an extra 20% off site wide right now. |
|
15% off orders on the Black Diamond website with coupon code- BDWELCOME15 |
|
raise.com is currently giving an extra 5% off certain retailers gift cards. Eddie Bauer is one of them with the code 'take5'. That makes the cards approx 25% off face value. Pair that with 5% cashback from befrugal and you're at about 30% off the website pricing on whatever you want. There's some nice First Ascent stuff on sale too- grab the BC-200 hard shell for approx $105. |

Just letting you guys know c4 set 0.5, 0.75, 1, 2, 3 are 235 on steap and cheap. Add another 5% off from active junky and that is just under $45 per cam. |

Dunno if I'm late or not relevant to this discussion, but I bought my lead ice rack this year through my gym. They gave me a %30 off "Package Deal", (anything i wanted, from manufacturers they dealt with) so long as i spent $350 (actually $500, but 500*.7=350). While I often buy items on sale for %30 off, i knew there would be no way I could find everything I wanted at once for that kind of discount. Rockspot Climbing is my gym, New England Area. Maybe your gym has/ will do, a similar offer. Only thing I couldn't get was a sterling rope because they didn't carry them, but more than happy with my Petzl rope. Good luck and keep this discussion going. |

I am 100% certain that I don't but would like to know what kind of people they look for. Thanks! |

Thanks!Industry professionals. Sames as BD, Petzl, Patagonia, Arcteryx, etc. Verify with a paystub, PSIA number, etc. Promotive and Outdoor Pro Link are sites that allow loosely associated industries, like law enforcement, to get discounted gear. If you look on Patagonia's site you can find a Pro app that is pretty standard for a direct program. |

Can anybody tell me what the actual discount is on Trango gear via promotive? Is there any other way to get their gear for cheap? |
|
Just to clarify, a Patagonia pro deal is one of ( if not THE) hardest deals to get. It requires you to spend a few thousand dollars per year in order to keep the deal active and they are very particular with sizing, colors, etc.; they will drop you if they even suspect you are abusing the program. This is through my experience working for a guiding company that used to have said deal. |

And Dave, Trango stuff is up to 40% off on Promotive depending on the item. |
