Description Suggest change

A good lead for new climbers. Good places for small cam in horizontal seam off the ground, and then medium nut in the vertical seam beyond that before the first bolt. Good hand holds if you work the route. A huge quartz crystal is just above the second (and original) bolt, that gives this route its name.

Location Suggest change

The middle of five routes on this wall, between Hour of Power and Minuteman. The only route that has it's own anchor, the middle of the three. The outer two are shared with other routes.

Protection Suggest change

Small to medium cams and stoppers.
2 bolts. Original route had only one bolt up high, second bolt added about a third of the way up.
Two bolt anchor at top.
All hardware is in excellent condition.
