At long last, The Rock Climber's Training Manual is finally here! The first batch of pre-orders were shipped yesterday, and we hope to have the rest filled today or tomorrow.

This project was originally conceived by the users of the Mountain Project Training Forum--thanks to all of you who inspired and challenged us to make it happen. I'm terrified of forgetting someone, so I won't name names, but many of you helped in specific ways, either by providing information, asking questions, or clarifying my simplistic explanations on this forum. I hope you know who you are and know how much your knowledge and curiousity have helped. Thank you so much!

Congrats, nothing like seeing a labor of love come to fruition. And that will be th easiest baby for you two to get out of the house, the others are going to take 18, maybe even 25 years!

I'm looking forward to getting my copy. I'm actually pretty excited about it.

Thanks Will, and thanks for your help on the Strength chapter. Definitely the easiest to get out of the house, but by far the hardest to create, from my perspective :)

Yes, eventually. It takes a while to get distribution set up, and you need to have books in-hand to do it, so that process is just getting started. The best way to ensure the book ends up in your local shop is to request it specifically. For the time being the best way to get it is to order online.

+1 dude. Very cool to be recognized. There are so many talented climbers out there and to be recognized as you have is very cool to witness. I appreciate your contributions, congratulations!

Boy, it's been awhile since I've chimed in here, but now that the book is done, I may have some time :)

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It was a labor of love...and I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed writing it.

While it's a bit of a hassle filling out address labels, it's been really cool to see all the places our climbing community extends to. In the last week, we've mailed books to the UK, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Singapore, Australia, Oman, even Florida!!!

We hope this will stimulate some debate and a lot of psyche for all of us to get out and crush!

I received my copy on Thursday of last week. I have only had a chance to quickly skim through it, but my first impression is a solid WOW! The print quality is amazing and there looks to be a ton of great info in the book. Thanks Mike and Mark. I cannot wait to spend some serious time reading and learning from this book.

Mine came in the mail last night.
Super excited. Perfectly timed since I started my power phase last Friday and it looks like my campus board routine falls nicely in line with what is suggested here.

Will give it a a thorough read over the next couple of days.

Mine arrived today. From the little bit that I've skimmed, this will be an incredible training resource.

Thanks for writing a great book!
