Sure, there's going to be some rain tonight, but all weekend long the Gunks are looking low 70s and mostly sunny. I'm itching to do Double Crack, Ants Line and a single pitch sweep of Madame G.

What are all you Gunkies dreaming up for your weekends?????

Any non-Gunks climbers welcome to contribute. It's finally warm on the east coast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Avoiding the Gunks on a nice weekend, as usual. Going cragging elsewhere. Be safe, have fun!

The Doubleissimma three pitch link-up. Worth buying a 70 m rope for.

That said, we are in NoCo this weekend. Still plenty of snow in Tucks!

Alicia,

Start Madame G's using the first pitch of Columbia

I completely agree with the Columbia suggestion.

I'm stoked about the forecast for warm weather at the Gunks! Stoked about climbing with my rad partners! No idea what we'll be climbing as the area we are heading to is new to me.
Can't wait, so psyched!

Gunks climbing, you say?!--see you there! By the way, all three of your suggested routes sound like a nice plan, indeed!

Horseman, Jackie, RMC, then starting to break in at 5.6 =)

I've done Bunny (roof), rhododendron, and the 5.6 variations of three pines --suggestions to break in the grade?

(I have the luxury of midweek cragging this week ;))

Disneyland, The Last Will Be First, and Frog's Head are all fine routes to help you break into 5.6.

Starting to crack into the 8's at the Gunks! Looking forward to some fun on Snooky's, Drunkards Delight, Son of Easy O, and maybe sacking up and finally leading Thin Slabs Direct.

Central Park bouldering in the morning then hopefully getting out to Rumney or Conn for some sport climbing in the next couple weeks. So excited!!!!!!!!

Lots of stuff to do in the .6s! I would suggest Maria as the second pitch is oh so sweet.

Had a great time yesterday climbing the Gunks, enjoying the amazing weather (despite the early fog and rain).

Good stuff, especially enjoyed seeing old dude in jeans free solo around various little routes, great attitude and cool guy.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
