It would be more efficient to fly into Calgary, or even Edmonton, than Vancouver.

yeah someone had recommended vancoucver to me as the fly in.. Is edmonton or Calgary the better option? Kinda just looking for the shortest drive from the airport.

1.5 hours less from Calgary (3h50m v. 5h20m), and likely better international flights. Drive through Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise on route.

10 to 11 hours from Vancouver.

All estimates are to the Discovery Centre.

Calgary and Edmonton are appropoximately equidistant. If you want to spend time before/after climbing south of the Columbia Icefields, I recommend Calgary. If you want to spend time before/after climbing north of the Columbia Icefields, I recommend Edmonton.

not planniong on doing anything before getting there. If theyre equidistance id just be basing it off airfare.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
