Looking for climbing partners in Italy and Europe

I'm from Portland, Oregon and will be solo-travelling through Europe this spring and would love to meet up with some fellow travelling climbers or locals who wouldn't mind showing me around their local crags. I currently climb in Oregon at Smith Rock and some other local crags, and have also climbed a lot in Boulder, Colorado.

I'm confident leading up to 5.10 sport routes with the occasional 5.11. I also enjoy bouldering up to V5-V6 and have some multi-pitch experience as well.

Anyways, I'll be in Northern Italy, over the next few months and then will be travelling across Europe in July. I will be travelling super light, so I won't have much gear with me, just the bare essentials: shoes, harness, chalk, ATC.

I'll be near Florence and La Spezia (possibly can make it up to Finale Ligure), between April 26-29. These are just the two closest climbing zones I've found on the site, but am open to other suggestions!

I'll then be situated in Vicenza, Italy till June 29th. I found a crag about 15km south of Vicenza called Lumignano that looked pretty cool.

The remainder of my trip will be travelling through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, and England over 2 weeks in early July. I have no set itinerary, and am certainly flexible to meet up with some fellow climbers along the way.

Thanks for your help! Any suggestions on where to climb or find climbing partners would be much appreciated!

Cheers!

For England, put a shout out on ukclimbing.com a few weeks before you arrive.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
