The chalk I steal out of my partner's stash.
Because it's free.

magnesium carbonate / block chalk -- because it's simple, cheap, and effective.

BD White Gold...miles better than anything else I've used. I like the texture, and it seems to last longer than other "gym chalks" on actual rock. But I won't say I can climb any harder because of chalk type.

Any chalk that is in my bag
Because it's better then none! (I admit it, I am a East Coast Chalker!) Ask George Lowe what his favorite chalk is. (I give you a hint, he doesn't sweat it.)

I'm an addict myself. Can't get enough of it. Just wondering what people think. I used to love super chalk but I swear they changed the recipe or something.

I don't know about a favorite, but I really despise the scented stuff. Holy $h!t who thought making chalk that smells exactly like a bathroom de-odorizer was a good idea!

Really it depend on the type of rock I'm climbing as well as the humidity level. Different for cracks and pockets as opposed to crimps and slab friction. It depends on the situation.

Super chalk. But I bought a ton of the So Ill Holds stuff because it was on sale.ill say its average. Does the trick but wears faster than the superchalk.

Endo all the way. BD White Gold dries my hands out a ton. Not sure what that's about. Superchalk is meh. Bison is too finely ground, feels like chalking up with powdered sugar.
