He made a bad decision and now is suing the city for his own lack of judgment.

Needs to be whipped......and the attorney that agreed to take this case too.

They are infected with the disease of .......lack of personal responsibility/advocating for those with a distinct case of lack of personal responsibility.......and should be culled

Unfortunately dumb shit like this helps to reinforce Hawaii's stance on rock climbing. I have a hard time understanding how people have no personal responsibility for their actions.

As a personal trainer, I'm sure he had absolutely no idea what a fall like that could do.

Maybe he should take up a different career, like becoming a life coach.

We might as well put a DO NOT CLIMB sign on everything that can take you off of the ground. Stairs, curbs, trees, tall women. I mean, GOD FORBID someone falls off of something they climb up because no warning sign was put up.

There probably should be a warning sign in the birth canal: Going past this point will ultimately lead to death.

This article is so much better to read:

Not a personal trainer that should be hired.

a quick google finds this bio of his on Soho Strength Lab:

Johnathan Stock
"Strength is the foundation of all other levels of health and fitness."
Jonathan is the Director of Program Development at Soho Strength Lab and an accomplished exercise and strength coach, working with everyone from pre/post-surgery to high level professional athletes. John uses his unique skill set to identify and correct fitness obstacles, and strengthen any individual to his or her highest potential. In his spare time John is an avid athlete enjoying everything from whitewater kayaking to snowboarding to climbing mountains all over the country.

It seems climbing mountains all over the country didn't really instill a sense of self preservation. Hrmph.

What an ass hat. I hope this ass is not a real climber. By the looks of it, he's not. It's because of people like him that landowners can be swift to close climbing areas down. Worse yet, his attorney is trying to get climbing banned: "Stock’s lawyer says the absence of a sign barring climbing is negligence. “It just invites you or anybody with any athletic sense to give it a try,” said attorney Andrew Spinnell."

Why did Soho Strength Lab remove this from their website? This was there yesterday:

"Jonathan Stock -
