New England's Hardest Boulder Problems

I'm looking for input for updating a list of New England's hardest boulder problems that we used to maintain at NewEnglandBouldering

The old list has been posted here: NE's Hardest

I have researched extensively through mountain project and 8a.nu but want to get as much input as I can. I have really been amazed at how many hard problems have been done in the last 11 years.

Thanks.

Conquest of the Irrational should probably be down graded off the list. I used to do laps on that thing and I don't think I have ever done a real V10.

Actually, it probably would go back on when someone resends it. It broke a while back and I'm not aware of anyone resending it...

Missing all the hard problems at Bradley Mountain in CT, here's a short list but there's a few more and link-ups etc, Dan Yagmin would be the best resource I know...

V14- A Man Escape (unconfirmed, unrepeated, Ty Landman)
V13- Book of Bitter Aspects (Dave Graham)
V12- Busted Shadow (sit)
V11/12- Suspect Device
V11- Super Hepcat
V10- Hepcat
V10- The Prow

Also missing Great Barrington, at least a few hard ones there....Something from Nothing is V13

Nick, thanks for the info on CT. Is A Man Escape on the Grafitti wall at Bradley? Also, do you know anything about the Owl's Lair project that Phil Schaal did (rating, location, etc.).

That list could double if you added Putnam county

Here is my stab at the V13 and up portion of the list

I did link to mountain project for problems that are in the database (most are not).

Will be working on the V11 and V12 list soon.

Thanks.

Double Down got downgraded to v11 because of new beta. Also I think Serendipity Movement is the easier start to Busted Shadow sit.
Besides that, it's a good list.

All the v12's I know of are these:
Pway: Sit and Deliver
Heart of Darkness (broken)
The Three Amigos
Confident Man
Chuck O' Blitz

Bradley:
Super Prowers
Serendipity Moment
The Suspect
Farley:
The Machine
Milford:
The Best Buy
Rumney:
B Boy Stance

I don't know about anything in New York or PA

Here's a list some of the v11's to help you get your list started.

Pawtuckaway:
Stand and Deliver
Halcyon
Back at you with the Realness
Rat Fish Dyno
Child of the Storm (stand)
Revolution (v10/11)
Pretty Bloc Swag

Farley:
Party Wolf
Mid-Sized Man
Cat Daddy

Happy Valley:
Brothers Keeper
Sister Savior

Hideaway:
Back to Baltimore
Epoch

Bradley:
Super Hepcat
Busted Shadow
Suspect Device
White Lines

Ragged Mountain?:
Owl Lair Project

Rumney:
Satan's Choice
Landshark

Great Barrington:
Something From Nothing
Double Down
The Puke
Fotawa sit
Photo Finish sit
Andromeda

Lincoln Woods:
Divine Providence
Shoot to Maim
Under the big Top
Sphinctoral Agony

Milford:
Renaissance Man

Ok, now this should get interesting as I have added the V12s to the list. I have gotten lots of conflicting info so I did the best I could for this first cut. Please comment and I will make adjustments.

Finally got the list of V11s compiled, making the list complete (for now). I'm sure I have messed some problems up, so please let me know.

Looking to add open projects to the list to give the strong guys a list of targets in the area. Let me know if you know of any hard open projects. Thanks.

It seems to me projects should be a separate list. That list could be endless and would dilute the list of actual accomplishments.

I am in a agreement with a separate list for projects.

There are a fair amount of projects at great barrington, the one to the left of roses and blue jays.

Evan R and I were checking out a potential sit of Pressure drop, which starts the same as Fatawa sit but moves right into Pressure drop..probably going to clock in somewhere around v12 or harder.

Freaky bird at Farley

Might be a possible sit to Scarab

I'm good with a separate list. Thanks for the suggestions!

Updated the list today with some new problems and some that I had missed...
