Hello all, sorry if this has already been asked a thousand times. I'm planning a road trip to the Moab/Canyonlands area around the middle of September this year. We will be climbing and canyoneering. What are conditions usually like that time of year (temp and rainfall)? I spent a month there last year in February, and it got pretty cold at night but otherwise was great. Thanks in advance!

This past September was exceptionally rainy (remember when Boulder flooded?) It rained everywhere in September last year.

Temperatures are still very warm to hot during the day for the most part, and the nights cool off to a very nice sleeping temp. Climbing would be lovely in the shade or at higher elevations (ie the crags in the La Sal mountains). Canyoneering will be perfect.
