Actually sounds decent for a protein bar. You said let cool, but is there any actual baking or do you go directly from food processor paste to the pan and let it dry up some?

No baking. I am sure there are some bars that you can make that include baking, but these are specifically non bake. I just say "let cool" to let all the ingredients form up together into a nice consolidated bar. It is a bit harder to cut them when you haven't let them rest.

2 cups grain (quick oats, granola)
3/4 cup sweetner (agave or honey)
1 cup nut butter (almond, sunflower, or peanut)
1 cup protein powder (vanilla whey)
1 cup nuts/chips (choc chips, pecans, walnuts, etc)
1 cup seed (flax meal, oat bran, etc)

Refrigerate for about two hours after combining.

In the mountans; spread nutella on a tortilla, then cream cheese, then roll it up burrito-style. Repeat x 5. Stash in various pockets for surprise treats on that slog back to camp, or up the glacier...etc

Dude, I originally hail from Wisconsin. So think midwestern liberal (i.e. 'Power Food' equals Pabst and brats), not Prius fart sniffing San Fran liberal (vegan wheenies). Though you are correct about believing in climate change :)

Thanks for taking my snarky comment in stride. I do appreciate your contributions to this site.
