I'd like some advice on which julbo lense to go for. I'm debating both the zebra and the camel ones.

Areas of use are: climbing in summer.. and maybe some singletrack bicycle biking.

I also do a lot of ski touring, and then there's snow everywhere..(and sun, ideally) i.e.: quite a lot brighter than regular rock climbing.

Currently I use a pair of oakley frogskins for both activities.

is the camel too dark for regular climbing/biking on a partially sunny day?
would the zebra's be too light for ski touring in the sun?

I should point out that I have some kind of migrane thing where beeing out in the sun without shades gives me headaches...

I just spent a sunny weekend skiing corn in a pair of Zebra lenses without a problem. I've also mountain biked through heavy cover in them. Maybe not perfect, but close enough for me.

I have been using the Trek with Camel lenses for some time now.

They are photochromatic which means the lenses will darken or lighten dependent uppn how bright it is out.

The Camel lenses are Julbo's top lens and if you are wanting them for glacier travel I would highly recommend them over the Zebra lenses just due to the amount of light transition at their darkest which I believe is around 5%.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
