SEEKING MOUNTAIN MAN!!!!!

maybe i'm wrong but I when I think of a mountain man, I think of a large, nice, healthy beard, a man than can swing an axe, chop a tree down and build a house or shelter. Make a fire to keep warm. Hunt with a bow and arrow or gun if you choose to feed the family. Surviving off the land. Dispelling modern society with none of these modern conveniences of internet, tv, smart phones, social networking, profile names, using cool lingo. Just being out there. Waking up to the sunrise and sunset. Where is HE at ?

This is an interesting point. I think a lot of guys (myself included) think that because we put our superlight down jacket on, and goretex, and plod around on snowshoes or crag at 9,000 feet, and then instagram it, we're somehow these beacons of masculinity.

It's lulzy.

I'm trying my best to step it up, but I've got a long way to go. I've got fire by friction down. I can make a bow and arrow. Got rid of the TV and Facebook (although I can't quit jackin on forums). 99.9% of the "men" here aren't really men, but it's fun to pretend.

"Mountain man",= yeah, the full beard ax swinging killer of small game to live in a lean-to out in the depths of the forest or rugged backcountry.
"mountaineer",,,well that's what you're gonna find here at best, I'd hope, and where most of our qualifications will fit in. If you truly seek the hairy beast with flannel shirt and ax in hand, you might have to find another website for that search.

where did my post about blood play go?

Mia would not approve of anything being censored on her thread :/

BBB would be sick. There were two dudes hiking out there while I was headed to the Ribbon last saturday. Supposidly it's all ice. Even better it isn't a climb up a loaded gun barrel.

Are you seriously complaining that they ditched Elanor again? It's worth it.

I need my Elanor fix daily,,something of credible idiocy to read, be it ice/mountain man/ mountain girl/ whatever,,,,who would edit out Elanor posts? I think Mia can handle a little Elanor here or there.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
