Verve climbing pants
|
Does anyone know where I can find the popular Verve climbing pants for bouldering? I can't find them online anywhere and on their website it says they are not available at this time. What's the deal? Did they go out of business? Any info is appreciated. |

They're still in business, but Christian just moved his home and shop and is probably still setting stuff up. Neptune Mountaineering in Boulder carries Verve (including the Belikos pants), and I think they'll ship... |

Great thanks for the info. Looking forward to when it's more widely available again too. |

In case anyone cares- they are now sold at The Front Climbing Club in Salt Lake City! |

so the skinny on them as a long time owner and big verve fan. is CG makes them In batches, you put in an order with the folks at verve and when they get done they get shipped. they send what they can to retailers but there is such huge demand for them that most are all ready sold to folks on the wait list before they even get there. I know that I am on the list for two pair to replace the two that I have had for five years of desert Splitters. the Xeno, and bellicose are comfortable, durable breathable, and made in the states, by a certified crushmaster who is a damn cool guy and a loving father to a future crushmaster. buy Verve and prosper, or at least look damn good |

Have you tried: |

Prana,! I'm not sponsored, but you might think so with 4 pair of shorts and 4 pants so far. Go for it. |

Waterstone in Fayetteville usually stocks some Verve stuff. But to reaffirm what was stated earlier, both pairs of Xenos I have I got from preordering directly via email/phone- they don't charge you until the item is made and shipped, but it might take a while if they just sold out. I like the new Xenos, but the old ones made with Schoeller fabric were the best climbing pants I've ever had. |

I ordered some Zion pants and Axiom jeans today for ~$30/pair - that's about my limit - can't imagine paying anything more for pants. |
