What is the best guide book for the Queens Creek area? Thanks.

The "Rock Jock's Guide to Queen Creek Canyon" is probably the most respected guide book for the area. It is outrageously expensive, if you can find one.

The book was written by Marty Karabin. Many of the climbing shops in Phoenix carry his mini guides. I know REI has them. The mini guides are a fold out guide to one area in Queen Creek. They run about $5 each. You could probably get them all for about $50.

You should just guide yourself forty five minutes farther to the homestead and enjoy better sport climbing.

For the pond and Atlantis the fold out karabin guide is more than adequate. Five bucks at REI or the hiking shack.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
