I'm planning a camping trip for the spring and I was going with my buddies who like me love to climb and run does anyone have any recommendations? Having lakes or rivers to kayak and swim is a plus but not necessary

Your criteria is

a) climbing nearby
b) running nearby
c) lakes or rivers nearby?

How about - almost anywhere, except the desert?

I think it would be helpful to know what type and level of climbing you are looking for.
Same goes for the running. Morning trails or ultra distances?

hey, moab is in the desert and meets all those criteria.

Were advanced at running and prefer mountain trails
But beginner to intermediate in climbing and we prefer sport but are open to any type

Both my wife and I have been trail/mountain running for year, as well as climbing for nearly twenty years, and the best combo vacation locales have been in the whites of New Hampshire, the cascades due east of Seattle, the Chattanooga area, and of course Yosemite. Squamish is rad, too!

sounds like an adventure, and a tiring one at that. haha. post some pics or vids. would love to see an exciting route. maybe trade in some rafting for kayaking? get some.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
