its pouring rain outside and I'm bored outa my mind so i'm gonna keep pushing this topic.
martin got it right; don't eat too much, eat mostly vegetables and whole grains with a little meat if you want. drink plenty of water and thats about as healthy as your diet can get.
you don't need a bunch of supplements. cut back on meat: americans eat 200% more meat now than 50 years ago. the same is true for dairy.
stay away from fad diets. low carb is great for people who sit on the couch all day but not for active people. carbs fuel the body. the more active you are the more you need them.
also cut back on sugar, fat and don't eat anything that contains stuff you can't pronounce. I try not to eat anything with more than 5 ingredients, with exceptions.
I'm more for the eats lots of good shit and don't eat bad shit diet. If people didn't eat it a hundred years ago don't it eat now. Limit your dairy intake because people didn't eat a whole supreme pizza a hundred years ago and they sure as shit didn't eat crispy cream and wonderbread. I think you should eat a lot of fat but make it from olive oil and fish
^^^ Sam is right. Fruit, vegetables, meat, grains, is what we eat. No animals on this planet drink milk beyond their youth. And they certainly don't drink milk from other animals. Eat what you know is right and balance it out. Good luck
My two cents; Fat is important even when you're trying to loose some off of your gut. The killers are indeed sugars which carbs will turn into if you don't metabolize them in time. Fat on the other hand, burns slow and should not be completely removed from meals like breakfast. I used to do a half can of coconut milk/purée with loads of nuts and some fruit as a starter to my otherwise breakfast. Less is not always best. Best of luck!!
