Hey, I live in gunnison and love to climb. I am not an expert in the area having only lived here for a few months but I know a bit. Do you climb ice because its too damn cold for me to climb rock this time of year. I am busy on Thursdays but Fridays I am free after 10. Hey sorry for the long response time, I was all over the state for a bit. Anyway I don't really boulder but I know that up in Cb the skyland boulders are pretty nice, although I think they are under several feet of snow right now. If you want to try some ice I can get you some cheap (maybe free) rental gear from Western. But that won't be until after the 13th. If you are interested just let me know. The best winter climbing I personally know about other than ice is probably out at shelf road in Canon City. It generally stays much warmer than up here in the valley.
