Would Epinephrine in Feb be just cold, or stupidly unclimbably cold? |

Depends on temperatures. Most likely zero sun on the route, which means if temps in Vegas are above 65/70 you might be in luck. Below that may qualify as "stupid cold." |

As long as you are a competent team and can move at a reasonable speed, which daylight dictates anyway, you should not get cold at current temps. |

Scott, most of my favorite 5.11's are actually north facing. The north facing walls are steeper at RR in general. But here are a few of my select longer trad climbs at that grade range for this time of year...north to south in the park. These are all sunny and moderate in length...several can be combined for a full day as they are close to each other. I would not hesitate in doing the Warrior, Resolution Arete, etc this time of year...routes with at least partial eastern exposure and go fast. Good luck on your trip. |
