Delaware Water Gap Ice?

The Rock Climbing NJ guidebook has a short section describing ice routes in the Gap. Do these come in regularly, or is it more sporadic? I would like to check it out if there's something climbable there, I'm next to NYC, so it's a shorter drive than the Catskills, and doable in an afternoon. Does anyone know current conditions out there?

On the Minsi side, the Minsi Curtain (near Teardrop Buttress) and Minsi Flume (near Suprise) are fairly reliable and easy to spot from Rt 80. The ice on the Tammany side is a little less reliable and besides the Main Flow, most of the ice is way up on the head wall.

I've climbed Teardrop Buttress a few times just to have the route dialed in order to reach the Minsi Curtain. I've seen it many times from the road, and its huge. Unfortunately, I could never find a partner.

If you want to talk offline about a trip out there let me know. I'm about an hour from The Gap and know the area well. I got a buddy that lives nearby who can take a drive past and let me know how it looks. There's also a waterfall area worth checking out.

Thanks for the info. I'm more familiar with the Tammany side, having climbed some rock routes there, but I've been meaning to venture across the river and check out Minsi. Pm sent.
