Suggestion for posts regarding lost gear

Seriously, posts about stuck stoppers, misplaced chalk bags, and other inexpensive lost gear are fricking annoying. Like, right up there with threads about permadraws or what ads are showing up on mountainproject.

So, who supports this informal [s]rule[/s] guideline: if you lost something at the crag that is worth less than $30, just accept the loss and don't post about it. Be psyched if someone posts up that they found it, but otherwise, step away from the keyboard and quit acting like a whiny, cheapass nitpicker.

I lost a sticker off my nalgene. If found please post it up so I can rightfully reclaim this nolstagic piece. It was lost, or more likely stolen, between the crag an parking lot.
