I am planning on building a smallish indoor wall, it will have numerous different cracks, what paint type surface should i use in these? any ideas?

I've had great success with just a few cups of play or construction sand( depends on how rough you want it) mixed in the paint and slathered on the boards before building the crack. Tough to get the paint in there when already assembled. Fancy costly surface stuff costs like 50 bucks or more a gallon, and some are just too rough for nice friendly jam crack use. I have one sand covered board that has been outdoors on my wall and exposed to elements since 1992 and still gritty enough to get by.

I've heard the best bet is bare sanded wood. The thinking being it will be harder to jam without texture which enhances your training with the side benefit of not destroying your skin.

I've had really good luck with valsparpaint.com/en/find-th…

I picked it up at Lowe's. Make sure to lay down a coat of primer, or you may get some flaking. But you definitely need to tape up, especially rattly hand sizes.

Louie Anderson recommended to me the above valspar paint if working on a budget.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
