Which would be better? I am looking for something light and warm for mainly spring/early summer climbing. So far my climbing trips seem to keep taking me to the front range, south platte, and Lumpy Ridge in Colorado.

Try them on. The fit is very different.

Try GoLite.

I have the patagucci UL down jacket, super light, super warm. Parcks down to a softball. Floats to the ground when you drop it. I bought an XL so I could throw it over my soft shell while skiing or my whole harness while waiting to climb (mind you, no two way zipper), but the fit is pretty awful by itself. Boxy and big at the waist. I tried on a large not too long ago and would be perfect for a layering/stand alone piece. 6' 170 lbs. I would also go for the hood if I had to buy again.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
