Suggestions for a good Outdoor Gear Repair Shop?

I have a pair of patagonia alpine guide pants that I need taken up on the inseam. The cuffs are a bit complicated with a zipper, elastic, snaps etc. so I don't know if a regular tailor could do a proper job. I will just be using them for cold weather rock climbing. Anyone have good experience with a particular shop?
Thanks

Buy different pants. Rab and Arcteryx sell pants in short lengths. Modifying your pants will net you an expensive pair of poorly fitting pants.

I have used Rainy Pass Repair out of Seattle and have been really happy with their work. rainypass.com

Send them to patagonia. They'll do it.

If you send them to patagonia, chances are they'll send them to Jim at Ripstop Repairs in Boulder, CO. He has been a designer in the outdoor industry for decades and does excellent work. Not the warmest of personalities, but that's not what you pay him for...

I've called patagonia before about altering some pants, they said they'd do it in house, for a reasonable price. Granted, those were new pants, not sure what the OP's got.

My pants are used but in great condition. I will check out all of these suggestions compare prices and go from there. Now I just have to decide how I should have the cuff of the pants re-done. Something a bit more simple than the original that will suffice for cold weather rock climbing.

Cut the legs somewhere in the middle, then re-attach them. This ppreserves all the fancy stuff at the cuff *drawstring, scuff guard etc), and if you need to, the articulated knee as well.

I like that idea. Thanks.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
