Hi, I just moved to the area a month ago and I am looking to find people to climb on weekends, rock or ice, I have lead a few routes of ice in Spain (WI 3) and I have climbed this year trad up to 5.9 in Wa but I have not climbed in the east so I dont know if the rate is harder here, thanks

Hey there!!

Welcome to MA. I'm always looking for someone to climb with in the area. I have not done any ice climbing but will be doing 2 days of intro ice climbing skills this December. New to rock climbing, did some trad climbing out in WA Pass up to 5.7-5.8 this past summer, and some TR up to 5.9. If your looking to some indoor recreation too there is a pretty good rock gym over in Watertown(Central Rock Gym). Anyway you can contact me as scott.curleyii@gmail.com any time you are headed out.

Cheers! Scott

Me too, me too!

I have gear/ropes/guidebooks (both rock and ice), but no car. I'm in Somerville, just off the 93.

Trad: Lead to 5.9, working on low 10s.
Ice: I've TRed to WI4. Just got screws this year and looking start leading on easier stuff (2+ or 3).
