1. Sick Gnar, you've not climbed a limestone area without comfortized holds. 2. Fuck You for calling me a chuffer. (Real Chuffers and wimps hide behind fake names.) 3. Chances are you don't know me, so respect. R

As I would have to agree. Only stone that is dangerous or would break off during sends is removed. Rather than flay your finger and waist falling off routes numerous times in cleaning the rock go for it. I rather clean then focus on climbing the finished product. No one about the northern Arizona believes in hold modification or alteration past cleaning past dust and crozzly choss pieces.

The boulders down there have been scrubbed clean of choss by floods. The walls have a different character that any modern climber would understand needs cleaning to make the effort worthwhile. Syk Nar doesn't really have a good point to make....he's just pissed, or bored, or a little confused, and felt like venting for some reason. We all love "awesome" rock, generally because it's solid, dependable and it stands the test of time. People are the same, and sometimes we have to see past the inherent differences, and any chossy character traits(such as Syc Nars), accept the person inside, and have respect.

There's nothing like a nice regional ethics scuffle. Who will wash who's scrote?
