Im hoping to head up to LK sometime this week just to check it out, hopefull do a little climbing but I mainl just want to make the approach and see where everything is located. I believe I read in the book that Dogs are not allowed. Is this true? and does anyone know why? Its really not a big deal but anytime I dont bring my dog climbing I get the stink eye when I get back.

I've never been, but a quick look at the Laurel Knob page notes ownership by the CCC and links to their site for rules. The CCC Laurel Knob page links the climbing management plan that is pretty definitive in section 14:

CCC wrote:Due to the unique nature of the environment and length of climbs, dogs or other pets are prohibited at Laurel Knob.
You should probably review the whole thing, should only take a few minutes.
