I am backpacking across Spain and Italy for my winter break. One of my rock climbing friends from here in San Francisco made me promise I would do some DWS in Mallorca cause it's AMAZING. Anyone down to partner up? I kinda had a specific week in mind, but I am pretty flexible to make it work for you.
I know winter isn't the best time to DWS (even in warm Mallorca) but it's the only time I'll be in europe in the foreseeable future. I would also be down to do some sport, but you would have to bring the equipment.

I do know it's going to be cold. I looked up the temperatures and reviewed best times to go. From what I see, a winter trip is cold but do-able. I have lived in the mountains of New Mexico and in Adirondacks of New York, so temperatures between 50-36 are not that bad for me. I used to do our New Year's "Polar Plunge" into a frozen lake and live by the cold bay of San Francisco, so swimming in colder waters is alright as well. My main concern would be like you said; rough waters. From my understanding though, as long as you keep updated on the weather, tides, and potential storms, you should be alright.
Thank you again Brian and thanks for the video. I will definitely look into contacting Damon. Safety is a definite concern of mine and I probably will not go without talking/meeting someone who is more familiar with the area. And as always, to be ready to call of climbing if it seems unsafe at all.
