Best Crag at Red Rocks?

So I'm heading to Red Rocks in a week or so and unfortunately I only have a couple of days. Not nearly enough time, I know.

I'm not really interested in doing the long multi pitch (crazy, I know)
I'd just like to do some of the single pitch routes. Could anyone recommend a good area or areas with a decent concentration of gear routes from 5.8 to 5.10c?

Thanks!

I'll be interested in other replies but two areas come to mind straight away for me:

  • Ragged Edges Area - Super short approach, nice variety. Chicken Eruptus is the standout.
  • Necromancer Wall - A bit longer of a hike but longer routes on some quality stone.

These two areas have some great lines. Enjoy.

Brass wall and Straight shooter areas come to mind as well.

Chocolate Rocks has a good concentration of fun, moderate trad lines. No crowds, don't have to drive the Loop, and sunny.

If Brass Wall is busy, as it has been lately, check out Flight Path Area. It's only a 5-10 minute walk from Straight Shooter and you won't see a soul over there. There are some really fun 5.8/9s.

the black corridor at the second pullout has a lot of routes in that range and there all within spittin' distance of each other. the only prob is it will most likely be pretty cold this time of year and it can be quite crowded on weekends. oh, and it's all sport.

I'll second Patrick's recommendation of the Brass Wall / Straight Shooter area.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
