Climbing around Memphis?

I'll be in Memphis the week of November 18th. Any climbing in the area? If so, anyone want to show me around?

Closest thing is in Arkansas, but you're talking a 2 hr drive minimum (in good traffic) to crags around Little Rock (see destinations page for your options.) there's also King's Bluff in Clarksville, TN, but that's three and a half hours away. Bottom line, you're on the wrong side of TN to get on good rock.

Enjoy the BBQ and listen to some Three 6 Mafia, and don't leave valuables in your car.

Hit up Gus's for me, and worry about climbing some other time.

Haha! Okay, well I figured I'd ask just in case there was an area that was maybe not on MP. What about climbing/bouldering gyms in the area? same story?

There's ClimBRIDGES (actual spelling) if you absolutely have to climb something, it's not awful. But definitely not the kind of gym you'd write home about. I'm not knocking them, they're more geared towards team building and troubled youth programs. But they open their gym for drop-in climbers from 6-9 PM. The rest of the day it's closed except for group activities.
