+1 For Obed and the Scruggs' Lily Pad! No cover at Del's Smashed Frog Saloon. Obed is great in winter, rock might be cold, but rarely wet.

I just want to thank you all, the road trip seems to be established in the following order:

1. Red River Gorge
2. Obed
3. Stone Mountain

We'll probably go in early January.

For stone check the gate hours as last time I was there. They closed and locked the gate when the park closes for the day.
